Invisalign
Invisalign is a brand of clear, removable orthodontic aligners developed by Align Technology. It uses a sequence of custom-made thermoplastic trays (SmartTrack material) to gradually move teeth into their desired positions using digitally planned forces.
Invisalign is effective for treating a range of orthodontic problems, especially:
- Mild to moderate crowding and spacing
- Overbite, underbite, open bite, and crossbite
- Relapse cases (after prior orthodontic treatment)
- Arch alignment for restorative or prosthetic planning
- Minor rotations, especially of incisors and premolars
Not ideal for:
