Invisalign

Invisalign is a brand of clear, removable orthodontic aligners developed by Align Technology. It uses a sequence of custom-made thermoplastic trays (SmartTrack material) to gradually move teeth into their desired positions using digitally planned forces.

Invisalign is effective for treating a range of orthodontic problems, especially:

  • Mild to moderate crowding and spacing
  • Overbite, underbite, open bite, and crossbite
  • Relapse cases (after prior orthodontic treatment)
  • Arch alignment for restorative or prosthetic planning
  • Minor rotations, especially of incisors and premolars
